On September 13, 2021, the General Administration of Customs released Decree 251, which is promulgating the Measures on Credit Management of Enterprises Registered and Filed by the Customs of the People's Republic of China. The main contents include credit information collection and publicity; Certification standards and procedures for advanced certification enterprises; The standards, procedures and credit repair of enterprises; Management measures, etc.

In addition, Article 36 of the Decree stipulates that the credit management of overseas manufacturers of imported food and foreign production, processing, and storage parties of imported animal and plant products registered by the customs shall be separately stipulated by the General Administration of Customs.

This decree shall be implemented from November 1, 2021.
